Sokjes / socks

       Vandaag maar eens de sokjes afgebreid die ik heb gemaakt naar een patroon van Betsy en hieronder zie je foto's ervan. De bedoeling was dat ik ze zou vervilten, maar de wol (er staat op 100% merino wol) is daar niet geschikt voor en daarom heb ik ze maar weggegeven aan een buurvrouw die deze week is bevallen! Ik heb nog niet veel tijd gehad, maar morgen ga ik toch echt aan de slag voor Rasta Pop !
       Today I finished the babysocks that I made with a pattern from Betsy and below you can see the pictures of them. I intended to felt them, but the yarn I made them out of (the label says 100 % Merino' s wool) isn' t suited for felting. I gave the socks to a neighbour who just a couple of days ago gave birth to a babygirl. I didn' t get much time yet, but tomorrow I intend to work on the outfit for Rasta Doll !

Roze vest gebreid / knitted pink cardigan

     Hallo mensen,
Het heeft me wat gekost...maar nu is het vestje voor Iris dan eindelijk af. Zij krijgt het bij haar outfit, dus het komt niet bij de andere vesten als beschikbaar, wel als voorbeeld.

       Hi people,

It took me a lot....but finally I finished the cardigan for Iris. It will come with her outfit, so it won' t be available for sale yet with the other knitted clothes. I will put it there as an example though.

Knittings.... Breisels....

       And now something else: I have been thinking and came up with an idea....

I have designed a nice pattern for cardigans for the dolls. 

But making them takes up quite some time and not all the dolls will get one in their wardrobe, so......I'm going to make a brand new page, where I will put a.o. the cardigans that I've knitted.

For every doll there will be one fitting his or her outfit, that can be ordered.

       En nu iets anders: ik heb een leuk ideetje voor de kleding: 
Ik heb een patroon gemaakt voor vestjes voor de poppen.
Omdat het aardig wat tijd kost om ze te maken, krijgt niet iedere pop een vestje in de garderobe... dus: ik heb een nieuwe pagina gemaakt, waarop ik o.a. gebreide vestjes zet. Voor elke pop zal er een vest zijn dat bij zijn of haar kleding past, en dat kan worden besteld.

       Sometimes you will find the letters AF sewn on my creations, like on this cardigan. Don't worry, it's no error....They are my initials!

Soms zul je de letters AF aantreffen, genaaid op mijn creaties, zoals op dit vestje. Niet schrikken, het is geen breifout.....Het zijn mijn initialen!

Vestje...... Cardigan !

       Ja, Iris heeft de smaak helemaal te pakken, nu heeft ze me laten weten dat ze heel graag een vestje bij haar outfit wil.....en ik, die een zwak voor haar heb, liet haar kiezen welke wol het beste zou passen bij de andere kleren. Zie hier haar keuze, hoe kan het ook anders: roze!

       Iris has a strong mind, she let me know that her outfit would not be complete without a cardigan!   And since I have a week spot for her, I let Iris choose the colour she would like me to use for it: and this colour it will be! No surprise to me! A soft mohair yarn....it 's a good choise, I must say!
