Winterbruidje.... / Winter bride....

        Het voelt toch wel goed: dit bruidspaar is klaar voor het huwelijk! We zien hier een echt winterbruidje: haar bolero heeft inmiddels lange mouwen gekregen  en haar stola heeft dezelfde 'bont'-uitstraling als haar laarsjes..... laat de sneeuw maar komen hoor, ze zijn voorbereid!
Het boeketje heeft een mooi gehaakte 'kraag' rondom van hetzelfde garen als het tasje van de bruid en zo zijn alle details mooi afgerond. 
Het enige wat we nu nog willen horen is:  Ja, ik wil!

  It does feel good: this couple is ready for marriage! Here we see a real winter bride: her bolero now has long sleeves and her shawl has the same 'furry' look as her boots ..... bring on the snow, they are prepared! The bouquet has a beautiful crocheted 'collar' around, made with the same yarn as the purse of the bride, so all the details are nicely finalized.

Now the only thing we want to hear is: Yes, I do!

Make over :)

       Al een tijdje zit er een popje in een hoekje wat aandacht te vragen.... het is de kleine Teddy! Zij heeft het idee dat ze nog iets mist... een muts wil ze graag! Tja, misschien nog niet echt nodig, maar.... binnenkort gaat de temperatuur wellicht toch naar beneden en dan moet ze haar fijne haartjes wel beschermen. Zal het haar staan? vraag ik me af... Oh ja! Teddy weet het zeker! Om dat te checken, heeft ze even de muts geleend die in de shop komt binnenkort. En kijk maar voor jezelf hoe dat staat! Ik ga meteen aan de slag hoor: Teddy heeft gekozen voor:  geel !

Ik heb haar alvast een kleine metamorfose gegeven...hoe vinden onze lezers het ???

       For a while now there is a little doll in a corner asking my attention .... it's lovely Teddy! She has the idea that she is missing something ... a hat maybe?! Well, maybe not that necessary, but .... soon, the temperature might suddenly drop and then she will have to protect her fine hairs. Would it look good on her? I wonder ... Oh yeah! Teddy knows for sure! To check this out, she just borrows the hat that will be in my little shop soon: a woolen red knitted hat. And see for yourself how it suits her! Okay little one,  I start working on it immediately : Teddy's choice: yellow!

 I have already given her a little makeover...what do our readers think ???

Babyblauw / Baby blue

       Deze foto's zijn met daglicht gemaakt, ik wilde ze toch even op de foto zetten voordat ik het setje inpak. De wantjes zijn heel makkelijk te breien, ik heb geen patroon gebruikt maar als je dat wel wilt kun je in veel oude breiboeken dit soort dingen vinden en kijk vooral voor de wantjes even bij Betsy want zij heeft ze ook op haar blog (baby maat)! De wantjes heeft zij ook aan een koordje, precies zoals we het zelf vroeger als kind droegen!

       These pictures have been made at daylight, I wanted to make some pics before they get wrapped up. The mittens are very easy to knit, I didn't use a pattern but if you want to use one: things like this can be found in many old knitting magazines and for the mittens you can also visit  Betsy because she has these mittens on her blog (baby size)! She also has the mittens attached to a cord, just like we used to wear it as a child!

BBBrrrrrrrr wintertijd / wintertime!

      Ja hoor, hij is gearriveerd: Koning Winter! Natuurlijk willen poppen ook leuke warme kleding aan en dat weten hun mamma's maar al te goed! Ik ga veel meer kleding in mijn winkeltje plaatsen en dit is alvast een heerlijke outfit: laat de sneeuw maar komen !....:)

       Oh yes, he has arrived: King Winter! Naturally also dolls like nice warm clothes and their moms know all too well! I am going to place more clothes in my shop and here is already a lovely outfit: 
bring on the snow !..... :)

 Wat jammer: het is erg donker (bewolkt) buiten, dus ik kreeg de kleuren niet goed:

Het vestje is babyblauw, de knopen zijn fuchsia en de hartjes zijn paars, fuchsia en oudroze !

What a pity: it's very dark (cloudy) outside, so I couldn't get the colours right: 

The cardigan is baby blue, the buttons are fuchsia and the hearts are purple, fuchsia and 'old' pink !

Mittens connected with cord from sleeve to sleeve!

And here a lovely crocheted vest of cotton, special stitch and all it needs is buttons. Just can't decide what colour, I guess it depends on who is going to wear it in combination with what...?

En hier een schattig gehaakt vest van katoen, speciale steek en alles wat het nog nodig heeft zijn knopen. Ik kan alleen niet beslissen welke kleur, het hangt af van wie het zal gaan dragen en in combinatie met wat...?

Herdertje zoekt een thuis! / Shepherd looking for a home!

       Morgen gaat mijn kleine herdertje naar mijn winkeltje, hij is er klaar voor!
Ik heb met veel liefde aan dit popje met zijn vriendje het schaap, gewerkt..  :)
Nu maar hopen dat iemand hen net zo leuk vindt als ik, en ze een thuis geeft!

       Tomorrow my little shepherd will to to my Etsy shop, he is ready for it!
It was with a lot of love that I worked on this doll with his little friend the sheep ..  :) 
Let's hope someone likes them as much as I do, and give them a home!

New year ! Nieuw jaar !

       Het was in het staartje van 2012 dat ik mijn poppen via mijn blog de wereld in stuurde....en nu staat het nieuwe jaar voor de deur. Ik sta te popelen om lekker veel te maken, mijn handen willen creëren en mijn hoofd zit boordevol ideeën dus laat 2013 maar komen! En dan hoop ik dat jullie, mijn bezoekers, mooi vinden wat ik maak want van jullie krijg ik extra inspiratie...  Gelukkig nieuw jaar allemaal!

       It was only at the end of 2012 that I send my dolls into the world through my blog....and now the new year is knocking on the door already. I almost can't wait to continue making, creating with my hands and my head is full of ideas so I'm ready for 2013! And I do hope that you, my visitors, will like what I make because you inspire me even more...   Happy new year to all!

Welcome to my creative world. Today I can show you a glimpse of what I've been doing recently...  
 About dolls: I am focussing on the new year with my dolls. Next year I will be prepared for Xmas, this year I was just too late to create enough to offer for the Chrismas holidays. It just took me quite a while to figure it all out (how a blog & shop works).

       Beste bezoeker,

Welkom in mijn creatieve wereld. Vandaag kan ik je een kijkje geven naar wat me bezig heeft gehouden...

Over poppen: ik focus op het nieuwe jaar met mijn poppen. Volgend jaar zal ik meer waarschijnlijk (je weet nooit) voorbereid zijn op de Kerst periode, dit jaar ben ik gewoon te laat om genoeg moois te creëren om aan te bieden. Het nam aardig wat tijd om uit te vinden hoe het allemaal werkt (met een blog en winkeltje).

Ik zou graag willen weten wat je mening is over mijn blog en mijn creatieve werk. Vind je dat een pop een accessoire mist? Heb je een idee of een vraag? Laat alsjeblieft een berichtje achter of stuur me een mailtje.
