Even als een gek doorgebreid en ik heb weer een leuk paar slofjes, schoentjes of sokjes: wat je ze wilt noemen maakt niet uit. Het was even spannend: zouden ze genoeg krimpen om aan de voet van een pop te passen? Het was een heel vilt-proces, maar...........ze passen inderdaad!
En dan zijn ze ook nog schattig om te zien! Op de foto's kreeg ik niet de dieprode kleur die ze in het echt hebben, dus in realiteit zijn ze nog mooier! Deze keer heb ik echte viltwol gebruikt, dus als ik gewone wol zal gebruiken, ga ik het patroon aanpassen. Maar goed, hier is het resultaat, de 'schoentjes' voordat ze werden gevilt:
Have been knitting like crazy and I now have a nice pair of booties, shoes, socks: it doesn't really matter how you call them. It was exiting for a moment: would they shrink enough to fit a dolls foot? It was quite a felting-proces, but........they do fit indeed!
And on top of that, they are adorable! I couldn' t get the deep red colour in the pictures that they have in reality, so when you see them for real, they are even more beautiful! This time I used special felt-wool, so when I will use normal wool next time, I will adjust the pattern. Anyhow, here is the result of the 'shoes', before they got felted:
