       Een bruidspaartje maken is zo makkelijk nog niet! Ik ben begonnen met wat volgens mij het minst leuk/makkelijk was: de kleding voor de bruidegom, het jacquet. En dan heb ik het nog niet over het borstrokje (een overhemd onder het jasje zou teveel opgepropte stof geven) en de schoentjes.....
Nu ben ik aan de bruidsjurk aan het werken :) Op dit formaat is het altijd een worsteling, maar het begint ook wel leuk te worden nu: kraaltjes en randjes maken het erg mooi.

       To make a bridal couple isn't easy at all! I started with -what I think was- the least fun/easy: the clothes for the groom, the jacket. And I did not even mention the chest skirt (a shirt under the jacket would gather too much fabric in the sleeves), and the shoes .....  
Now I'm working on the bridal dress :) For this size doll, making clothes is always a struggle, but it also starts to become more fun now: beads and trims make it very beautiful.

Er wordt aan gewerkt! / I'm working on it!

       Even een snelle update, zodat jullie weten dat ik er nog ben.......
De bruidegom is bijna klaar, maar hij staat nog op zijn kousenvoetjes!

Tip van de sluier... / tip of the veil

       Er zijn van die perioden dat er minder uit mijn handen komt dan ik zou willen en veeeeel minder dan ik in mijn hoofd heb! Maar ik ben wel altijd iets aan het doen natuurlijk, ik kan niet anders :)
Als een rode draad door mijn dagelijkse leven, loopt dit bruidspaar in spé : het wordt een cadeau voor een toekomstig bruidspaar, dus wel de volwassen uitvoering van de poppen die ik normaal gesproken maak!
Hier een 'tipje van de sluier' :)

       There are those times when I create less than I would actually like and waaaaay less than I have in mind! But I'm always doing something, of course, I can't help it :)  
As a common thread through my daily life, there are these bride and groom to be: they are going to be a present for a future wedding couple, so we are talking of a grown-up version of the dolls I normally make!
Here' s a 'tip of the veil' :)
